Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Manager to lead our service operations and support technicians from dispatch to customers, ensuring a smooth, high-quality experience from start to finish.

You’ll supervise staff, assist in hiring and performance reviews, coordinate maintenance and service activities, and help manage budgets and reporting. Strong leadership, HVAC knowledge, and a commitment to customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of management experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manages and develops staff, including hiring, scheduling, evaluating performance, and directing work.
• Coordinate maintenance, service, and indoor air quality activities for efficiency.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction and service quality.
• Collaborate with GM on budgeting and reporting.
• Monitor inventory, tools, and vehicles; review payroll for technicians.
• Communicate with dispatch to assign appropriate technicians.
