Intuit, Inc. is seeking energetic TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations across the United States, including Illinois.

You will provide full-service tax preparation, expert tax advice, and software support while collaborating with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning. You will also grow local client relationships and deliver a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships with TurboTax marketing support.
• Act as a trusted guide for clients by understanding their complete financial picture and connecting them to Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships and trust to convert transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, addressing inquiries and helping clients achieve financial goals.
