Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking on-site TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a TurboTax location in Illinois.

You will engage with clients in person and virtually, coordinate with a broader team of specialists, and help grow the local client base. You’ll work closely with tax professionals to deliver end-to-end services, including revenue planning, tax optimization, and client education, while expanding Intuit’s ecosystem with bookkeeping and advisory

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must complete training and development as determined by the business; uniforms; advertising use of your name/photo.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a local TurboTax client base and engage in outreach and events.
• Champion the Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial services.
• Build long-term client relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience both in-person and online.
