Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in Illinois. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support while coordinating with specialists across the Intuit ecosystem.

You will grow a local client base, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and participate in community outreach and events. The role emphasizes ongoing learning, compliance, and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, >=20 hrs/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; uniforms and brand use may be required.
• Interested in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow a local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll and financial planning.
• Build relationships to convert first-time customers into long-term clients.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience with professional communication and support.
