Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, advise clients, and coordinate with a team of specialists covering bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

You will act as a community ambassador, grow your local client base, and leverage TurboTax marketing and software tools to deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience for individuals and small businesses alike.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax, identify prospects and run local events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - Turn transactions into long-term relationships with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional service and effective use of video tools to assist clients.
