Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will work onsite, serving in-person and virtual clients, and collaborate with a team of specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, planning, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end Intuit support. You will grow the local client base, engage with the community, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while leveraging Intuit

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, at least 20 hours per week.
• Completed training and wearIntuit uniforms; ability to be featured in marketing materials.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Spanish-English bilingual is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations (personal and business income, deductions, amendments).
• Drive local growth through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, planning, Credit Karma).
• Build long-term relationships and trust with clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools.
