Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, offer expert advice, and connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.

You will grow the local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships, becoming the local face of TurboTax while delivering a seamless, end-to-end client experience.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attny with tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping/payroll/advisory with training by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete required training including compliance, up-skilling, cross-training, and development.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local/online presence as a TurboTax Expert per policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex personal and business tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and maximize refunds.
• Build local client base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Coordinate with specialists to deliver end-to-end Intuit experiences.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and empathy.
• Engage clients in year-round planning and ongoing support.
