Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite in a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide full‑service tax preparation, give expert advice, and connect clients with a broader Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping and payroll services.

You will also act as a community ambassador, expand the local customer base, and deliver a best‑in‑class client experience using Intuit tools and marketing support.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and allow use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - actively grow a local client base and organize events with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma when helpful.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust and repeat engagements with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional, helpful service in person and via digital tools.
