Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide tax preparation, advice, and software support, while collaborating with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and planning to deliver end-to-end service.

You will grow the local client base, host community events, and act as the local face of TurboTax, leveraging marketing tools to build trusted relationships and drive brand awareness.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business; training requirements may change.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be the local ambassador by growing a new customer base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and virtual interactions.
