Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a local TurboTax location.

You will grow the local client base, build relationships, and help clients navigate personal and business tax needs with access to Intuit’s ecosystem. You will work onsite, serving both in-person and virtual clients, and collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver end-to-end support.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training and cross-training.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships with clients to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and clear financial goals for clients.
