Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work onsite at a TurboTax location and serve as a trusted tax advisor. You will prepare taxes, provide expert advice, and collaborate with specialists for complex scenarios while growing the local client base.

In this role you’ll engage with clients in person and virtually, deliver a seamless Intuit experience, and help build long‑term relationships within the community. A strong client focus and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must be onsite 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Willing to use name/picture for advertising on marketing materials.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Connect clients with El Intuit ecosystem such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build relationships and deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Engage with clients in-person and via TurboTax tools to ensure end-to-end support.
