Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a local TurboTax location in California.

You will deliver hands-on tax preparation and advisory services to individuals and small businesses, with an emphasis on local community engagement and customer success. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll manage end-to-end tax projects, connect clients with broader Intuit services, and help grow the local TurboTax footprint while delivering an exceptional customer experience in

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise: Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: actively grow a local customer base through outreach, events, and partnerships, serving as the local face of TurboTax.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build Relationships: develop long-term trust with clients to turn transactions into ongoing relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: ensure professional service and excellent client communication both in-person and via Intuit tools.
