Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax planning, and software support while building local client relationships and growing the business with community outreach initiatives. You will collaborate with a team of tax professionals, offer in-person and virtual assistance, and leverage Intuit resources to deliver a seamless, end-to-end customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and allow use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise – Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – Act as a local market driver, identify prospects, create outreach, and organize community events for engagement and loyalty.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – Understand clients’ complete financial picture and connect them to Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build Relationships – Develop long-term trust to turn one-time transactions into ongoing client portfolios.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – Ensure professional, helpful service with clear guidance and use of modern communication tools.
