Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation, advice, and software support at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will grow the local client base, collaborate with specialists, and help clients navigate complex tax scenarios while delivering a top-notch customer experience.

You will work on-site, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20+ hours weekly, engage with the community, and leverage Intuit tools to build long-term relationships and a thriving local

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20 hours per week minimum, Mon‑Fri.
• Willing to complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be comfortable with name/photo advertising for marketing.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow a local client base via outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) as needed.
• Build relationships to turn transactions into long-term clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and assist with tax-related inquiries.
