Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice at a local TurboTax location. You’ll build a strong local client base, partner with specialists, and deliver a seamless Intuit experience both in person and online.

The role emphasizes community outreach, personal connections, and growing TurboTax’s presence through events and partnerships, with training and uniforms provided. Onsite hours typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Own your market by identifying prospects through outreach and partnerships to grow the local client base.
• Coordinate with a broader team of specialists to deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience for every client.
• Engage with customers in-person and via Intuit's video communication tools to explain tax concepts clearly.
