Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide on-site, in-person and virtual tax services, combining tax expertise with community engagement to help clients achieve positive financial outcomes.

As a Local Service Expert, you’ll handle full-service tax return preparation, offer tax advice, and coordinate with specialists for business or complex scenarios.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must reside in the United States and be able to work onsite at a TurboTax location.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax return preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the client base and drive loyalty.
• Coordinate with teams to connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in-person and via Intuit tools.
