Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service team as on-site Local Service Experts. You will provide hands-on tax advice and full-service tax return preparation, while also expanding TurboTax client bases within local communities and coordinating with our broader team of specialists.

You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate personal and business tax needs, while leveraging Intuit resources to deliver a seamless, year-round service.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• Min 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, 20+ hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and wear Intuit-provided uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare returns for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Assist with deductions, amendments, and future tax planning.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, growing local client base and hosting events.
• Connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Deliver end-to-end Intuit experience through collaboration with specialists.
