Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering high-quality tax prep, expert advice, and software support.

You will collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to provide end-to-end client solutions. The role emphasizes building local client relationships, growing the TurboTax client base, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience while supporting community engagement

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• EA/CPA/Attorney credentials preferred with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping/payroll/tax advisory with training.
• Onsite at TurboTax office 8:00–17:00, ~20 hours/week, in-person.
• Complete required training and development; compliance demanded.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador and drive local client growth through outreach and events.
• Guide clients through the Intuit ecosystem, connecting them to bookkeeping, payroll, or planning services.
• Build relationships with clients to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and assist with tax planning and questions.
