Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, delivering tax advice, preparation, and software support to individuals and small businesses.

You will collaborate with experts across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to provide end-to-end solutions, while actively growing the local client base and delivering a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours/week; peak periods may increase.
• Willing to complete training and development as required; willing to wear uniforms and appear in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, planning, and Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust and repeat business.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - use video tools and in-person interactions to help clients achieve goals.
