Job summary

Intuit is hiring a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax preparation and expert guidance at a TurboTax location. You will engage with clients face-to-face and virtually, uncover deductions, and coordinate with a team of specialists to deliver a full Intuit experience.

You will grow the local client base, organize community events, and leverage marketing tools to drive loyalty while offering comprehensive services from bookkeeping to financial planning when appropriate.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a local community ambassador to build and grow a local client base and foster loyalty.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning as part of a holistic offering.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual channels.
