Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States, providing tax preparation, expert advice, and software support. You will connect clients with a broader team for comprehensive services and help grow the local TurboTax client base with in-person and virtual engagements.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax prep experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, 20+ hours/week.
• Willing to complete training and development; compliance, up-skilling, cross-training may be required.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and be used in advertising; name/picture may be used.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients across personal and business taxes.
• Lead discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and optimize refunds.
• Coordinate with specialists for bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory needs to deliver end-to-end service.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools.
