Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to perform on-site, full-service tax preparation and advisory services. You will work closely with a broader team of tax and advisory professionals to deliver end-to-end financial solutions for individuals and businesses in your local community.

You will build relationships, attract new clients, and represent Intuit in local events, providing personalized, high-quality tax guidance and ongoing support throughout the year.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney credential and tax prep experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services with training by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week; peak periods may raise hours.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; uniforms; consent to use name/photo for advertising.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations and maximize refunds.
• Offer future tax planning advice using government resources and professional tools.
• Grow local client base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Coordinate with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory teams to deliver end-to-end service.
• Ensure a seamless Intuit experience in client meetings.
