Job summary

Intuit Careers seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to prepare taxes, advise clients, and grow a local practice at a TurboTax location. You’ll work with a team to deliver end-to-end tax solutions, expand client relationships, and connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and planning services.

You will assist individuals and small businesses, provide personalized tax planning, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience using Intuit tools and community outreach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training from Intuit.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients to related services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning within Intuit ecosystem.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in-person and via virtual channels.
• Collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax solutions.
