Job summary

Intuit is hiring a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support for both in-person and virtual clients, building a complete financial picture.

You will grow the local TurboTax client base, organize community events, and collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services, ensuring a seamless end-to-end Intuit experience for each customer.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid federal/state 1040 tax returns experience using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 20 hours/week minimum; training and uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex situations.
• Engage in discovery sessions, review taxes, and optimise deductions and refunds.
• Act as a local community ambassador and grow the client base via outreach and events.
• Coordinate with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory specialists to deliver end-to-end service.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools.
