Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and expert tax guidance at a local TurboTax location. You will serve both in-person and virtual clients, leveraging Intuit resources to deliver end-to-end tax services and build a local client base.

The role emphasizes hands-on tax preparation, personalized client advice, and cross-selling Intuit services such as bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using pro tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 preferred.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, min. 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete required training and development.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be comfortable using your name in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow a local TurboTax client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver a seamless end-to-end Intuit experience.
