Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and expert guidance at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will serve both in-person and remote clients, leveraging Intuit resources to deliver end-to-end tax solutions and growth in your local community.

Role emphasizes hands-on tax work, client education, and cross-selling bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services while maintaining a strong customer-focused experience and community presence.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state tax returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week.
• Must complete training and development as determined by the business; compliance and cross-training may be required.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising materials.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - hands-on advice and preparation for TurboTax clients, personal and business taxes, deductions, amendments.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services as appropriate.
• Build Relationships - establish trust to turn one-time transactions into long-term client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professional, helpful service addressing tax-related challenges.
