Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks energetic TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite in a TurboTax location across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation and expert advice, while expanding the local client base through outreach and partnerships.

You will connect clients to the broader Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and Credit Karma. This role emphasizes a full‑service, end‑to‑end client experience and community engagement.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, for at least 20 hours/week; hours may scale up during peak season.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; Intuit may add requirements over time.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be willing to use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow local client base via outreach, grassroots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Connect clients to Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma to address needs.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and end-to-end support in person and via Intuit tools.
• Build long-term relationships by engaging with the community and expanding the local TurboTax footprint.
