Job summary

Intuit is seeking year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide tax advice and preparation at a local TurboTax location. You will help clients with personal and business returns, tax planning, and connecting them to Intuit solutions while engaging with the local community.

The role emphasizes building relationships, delivering top-notch customer experiences, and expansion of services through events and marketing tools.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA or Attorney with strong tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• At least 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using tax software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or business tax advisory with training.
• Must be onsite at TurboTax office hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for 20+ hrs/week.
• Must complete training and development; training requirements may change.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms; may be used for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients including personal and business returns.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and develop tax planning recommendations.
• Drive local growth via outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Introduce clients to Intuit solutions like bookkeeping and payroll.
• Build lasting client relationships and deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Interact with clients in person and via video tools; address inquiries.
