Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax preparation, expert guidance, and software support at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services to provide end-to-end support for clients and drive local growth. Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, 20 hours per week minimum.
• Training and development required; potential cross-training of other products.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise: hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: grow local client base and represent TurboTax in events and outreach.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma services.
• Build Relationships: turn one-time clients into long-term relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: ensure professional service and client-centric guidance.
