Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking dedicated individuals to join the TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will provide full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support to in-person and virtual clients, while coordinating with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services. As a trusted guide, you’ll help clients navigate complex scenarios, grow the local client base, and deliver end-to-end Intuit

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations. Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the TurboTax client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning for year-round support.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional service and clear communication across in-person and virtual channels
