Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert tax advice at our local TurboTax locations. You will work on-site, engaging with clients to deliver end-to-end tax services and connect them with Intuit's broader ecosystem, including bookkeeping and financial planning.

The role emphasizes community outreach, customer relationship building, and a strong customer-centric mindset, with opportunities to lead local events and grow a client base.

Qualifications

• EA or CPA or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business; uniforms and advertising usage may be required.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; creating accessible tax-related content and resources.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax scenarios.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow local customer base and drive brand awareness.
• Bridge clients with related Intuit services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver end-to-end support.
• Build lasting relationships with clients to turn single tasks into multi-year engagements.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and assist clients with tax planning and questions.
