Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and expert guidance at local TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will work on-site, engage with clients face-to-face and virtually, and collaborate with specialists to deliver end-to-end tax solutions while fostering community relationships. You will grow the local client base, deliver personalized tax planning, and leverage Intuit tools to build ongoing trust.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising on Google.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations and planning.
• Be a proactive community ambassador by growing local client base and organizing events.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Build relationships and turn transactions into long-term client engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional conduct and clear tax guidance.
