Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation and advisory services at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You’ll work with clients in-person and virtually, helping with simple to complex tax situations and expanding the local client base through community outreach.

You will collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning, delivering a full Intuit experience while growing your local practice and client loyalty.

Qualifications

• EA or CPA with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00–17:00 local time.
• Willing to complete training and development as required.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online TurboTax presence.
• Non-mandatory but a plus: bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador, driving local growth through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build long-term relationships and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
• Interact with clients in person and via Intuit video tools, addressing tax-related questions.
