Job summary

Intuit in California seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site, full-service tax preparation and expert tax advice for personal and business clients. You will build local relationships, host community events, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning, while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

This role emphasizes entrepreneurial spirit, local marketing, and ongoing training to stay current with tax laws

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development and wear Intuit uniforms for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, planning and other Intuit services for year‑round support.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in person and via Intuit tools.
