Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States, handling full-service tax returns and providing expert guidance to clients.

You will collaborate with specialists to address complex tax scenarios and expand the local client base with community-focused outreach. You will engage clients in person and virtually, ensuring a seamless end-to-end Intuit experience while growing your knowledge of related services such as

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training and up-skilling.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to build and grow a local customer base for TurboTax.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or other services.
• Build relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience both in person and via digital tools.
