Job summary

Intuit is hiring a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work onsite at a local TurboTax location, assisting clients with tax preparation, advice, and software support. You will collaborate with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and planning to deliver end-to-end service within the local community.

You will build relationships, run outreach, and leverage marketing tools to grow the client base while providing a best-in-class customer experience year-round.

Qualifications

• Active EA/CPA or attorney license required.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training by Intuit.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office for at least 20 hours/week, 8am–5pm local time.
• Willing to complete training and adhere to policies; uniforms and branding usage.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the client base and engage with events and referrals.
• Connect clients with Intuit services beyond tax filing (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Develop trusted relationships to convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and guide clients through tax planning and questions.
