Job summary

WCPO, part of E.W. Scripps Company, in Cincinnati, seeks a Local Sales Manager to guide a team of Account Executives and drive local advertising across broadcast TV, OTT video, SEO/SEM, social, display, and email targeting.

You will coach, develop and execute creative sales strategies, forecast revenue, manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments to maximize station platforms and achieve revenue goals—travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 7+ years proven success in media sales.
• Experience in agency and direct strategic account management, broadcast inventory and digital/video capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of local sales Account Executives.
• Negotiate ratings, rates and budgets.
• Develop multi-platform advertising strategies across broadcast, digital and OTT.
• Forecast sales revenue and manage department expenses.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Sales Managers to train, develop and motivate the local sales team.
