Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in media sales, strong communication, lead generation skills, and the energy to prospect new clients while collaborating with internal teams to deliver integrated marketing programs.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and CRM tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for developing new business relationships in an outside sales role.
• Enjoy presenting to clients of sales opportunities and post-sale successes.
• Strong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects.
• Comprehension of sales metrics in order to fill a sales funnel and maintain a constant pipeline of new business.

• 1-3 years in Media Sales background required.

Responsibilities

• Identify client business needs by understanding goals and market trends to develop customized marketing solutions.
• Deliver integrated sales presentations using Cumulus broadcast, digital, and event tactics.
• Negotiate and close business to drive revenue and long-term client relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of Cumulus assets and stay current with advertising opportunities.
• Represent the full suite of products for clients, including station digital assets, internet marketing, social media, streaming, events.
• Manage time to maximize revenue opportunities and fulfill sales agreements.
• Prospect and build a full pipeline through networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals.
• Prepare orders, resolve billing issues, and submit regular sales reports.
• Collaborate to represent our brand and help clients succeed.
