Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources.
• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety and training preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
• Must maintain confidentiality and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct employment activities, ensuring properly qualified employees are recruited and hired in a timely manner.
• Ensure policies and programs are understood and administered consistently; disseminate communication to all employees.
• Oversee HR programs through staff; manage welfare plans including pension, life insurance, salary continuation, disability and health care.
• Administer wage/salary administration and annual equity reviews; review wage ranges.
• Oversee payroll processing on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Review and approve management recommendations for terminations.
• Maintain records and reports for HR functions and company goals.
