Qualifications

• Specialized training in employment law, compensation, employee relations, safety, and training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Direct employment activities, ensuring properly qualified employees are recruited and hired in a timely manner.
• Oversee HR programs through HR staff; monitor welfare plans and employee benefits.
• Administer wage/salary, performance appraisals, and annual wage range reviews for internal/external equity.
• Oversee payroll processing weekly/bi-weekly.
• Maintain records and reports for HR functions.
• Keep executives informed of significant problems affecting company goals.
• Develop and supervise training programs; conduct supervisory training.
• Lead safety/health programs and OSHA data tracking.
• Investigate employee complaints or concerns; promote positive employee relations.
