Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking CDL drivers to deliver freight with flatbed and curtain side trailers. The role emphasizes home every night and weekend, a sign-on bonus, and competitive hourly pay with guaranteed daily earnings.

Qualified drivers have a Class A CDL, are at least 21, and possess 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience with a clean safety record. The company provides modern equipment and values safety and reliability.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
• Safe Driving Record
• Ability to secure loads
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required
