Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL truck driver in Jacksonville, FL to securely and safely deliver freight. You will manage proofs of delivery, interact with customers, and ensure accurate handling of returns in a fast-paced environment.

The role要求 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience, a safe driving record, and the ability to secure loads in all weather conditions. First shift with home every night and weekend, plus a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required
