Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking professional truck drivers to join our team in Washington. You will deliver freight to customers, ensure loads are secured, and manage POD paperwork while maintaining strict safety standards and DOT compliance.

We offer a starting pay of $35 per hour, operate with modern equipment, and prioritize family time by keeping drivers home at night and on weekends. The role requires a valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, and 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe Driving Record.
• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
