Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of a high-volume loading dock serving a major transportation facility. You will schedule deliveries, assign docks, and ensure secure, compliant access for drivers, vendors and contractors using modern scheduling and access-control platforms.

You will monitor activity, resolve exceptions, and collaborate with tenants, carriers and security teams to optimize efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities operations, logistics, transportation, or similar environments.
• Experience using scheduling, access-control, visitor management, or related operational tech.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple activities.
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily loading dock operations including schedules, dock assignments, vehicle staging and departures.
• Use scheduling and logistics tech to manage appointments, deliveries, vendors, contractors and vehicle activity.
• Maintain real‑time visibility of expected arrivals, destinations and departures.
• Verify drivers, vehicles, vendors, contractors and deliveries before granting dock access.
• Coordinate with tenants, vendors, carriers, security, and facility staff.
• Track metrics like delivery volume and scheduling compliance.
