Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader and move aggregate materials across the site. You will stockpile materials from railcars and load customer trucks accurately for daily production in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

New hires attend orientation and safety training at our Dallas, Texas corporate office. Mileage and travel may be reimbursed for longer commutes according to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of heavy equipment experience; loader experience preferred.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader safely and efficiently per training.
• Perform pre-shift inspections on vehicle and equipment.
• Load cargo according to safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
• Assist in plant maintenance and operation of other equipment as needed.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA safety rules.
