Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate a front-end loader/dozer to move aggregate materials and load customer trucks. You will stockpile materials from railcars and ensure timely, accurate loading while upholding safety standards.

This role supports daily production in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with opportunities for overtime and growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment desired.
• 1 year of heavy equipment experience; loader operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader/dozer safely and efficiently per training and manufacturer instructions.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on vehicle systems and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment.
• Report needed repairs to supervision.
• Ensure cargo is loaded according to safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs and with operation of other equipment as needed.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA plant safety rules and procedures.
• Perform duties with minimum supervision.
