Martin Marietta in Abilene, Texas is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader and contribute to daily plant production. The role requires attention to safety, accuracy in material placement, and teamwork to meet schedule demands.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• 1 year of heavy equipment experience; loader operator preferred.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.

Mansioni

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer’s instruction
• Perform pre-shift safety inspection on the vehicle systems, equipment and accessories
• Perform preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment
• Report needed repairs to supervision
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Assist with operation of other equipment as needed
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA and plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform duties with minimum supervision
