Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Loader Operator to join our plant team in a hands-on role. You’ll run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement, helping keep our concrete flowing and production on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience running loaders or other big machines preferred, but training is provided.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Safety-focused and able to speak up if something isn’t right.
• Able to perform basic equipment checks and minor fixes.
• Team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work.
• Physically able to move and work in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not required.
• Committed to SRM’s 5 Principles: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, Go-Getter.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Work with the crew to keep production on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after each shift; report issues.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
• Lend a hand to teammates as needed.
