Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Loader Operator in Florida to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment, moving sand, gravel, and cement to keep our plant flow steady.

You’ll load/unload trucks, work with a crew to meet schedules, and perform safety checks on equipment. We offer home daily shifts, overtime, and a benefits package, with training provided and room to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience running loaders or other big machines is preferred, but willingness to learn and work hard is welcomed.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• You care about safety and speak up if something isn’t right.
• You know how to check equipment and perform basic fixes.
• You’re a team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work.
• You’re physically able to work outdoors in various weather.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.
• Adheres to our 5 Principles of Service: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and Go-Getter.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement to keep the plant running.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure material availability.
• Work with the crew to keep operations on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts and report any issues.
• Follow safety rules, wear gear, and maintain a safe work area.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory counts to prevent material shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
• Lend a hand where needed to support teammates.
