Job summary

SRM Concrete, a leader in ready mix, is hiring a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment in our Alabama plant. You’ll help move materials, load trucks, and keep operations on schedule with a safety-first mindset.

We train the right candidate, value teamwork, and offer steady, home-daily shifts with opportunity for growth and competitive pay. Previous loader experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience loading and operating loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• You prioritize safety for yourself and teammates.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure material flow.
• Collaborate with crew and production to maintain schedules.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts and report needed repairs.
• Adhere to safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Keep materials stocked and assist with inventory as needed.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to drive improvements.
• Be ready to help teammates and handle additional tasks as needed.
